Sport is a metaphor for life. Everything that happens on the court, field, or the walking path translates to issues of everyday life. Sport teaches body awareness, concentration, overcoming fear, trusting intuition and learning how to make proper adjustments and get the winning result. These lessons transfer seamlessly to the day-to-day world. Tennis anyone?
Mind in Motion will work with you to develop a program that fits your schedule; whether before work, on a lunch break, after work, or in between. We are also available on weekends. Walk and talk sessions are typically an hour to an hour and a half, in an outdoor setting of your choice and convenience.
Because the mind and body are linked, the combination of walking with progressive therapeutic and coaching methods promotes a healthier well-being. We all know the benefits of exercise are countless, so why not burn calories and release endorphins while you talk about what’s on your mind? Clients find that the very act of stepping forward helps melt away worries and stress and promotes a sense of taking action.
